With the second series of the hit TV show Killing Eve having recently finished, it’s the perfect opportunity to look back at some of the stunning locations that have featured and let your travel wanderlust take over as you plan your next trip to follow in the footsteps of our favourite Russian psychopathic assassin.
Cities to Visit if You’re a Fan of Killing Eve
Paris
The scene where Villanelle and Konstantin meet (remember that HUGE pink dress) was shot at Place Vendôme in Paris’s 1st arrondissement. As characters make their getaway from the city it would make sense for them to do so via train from Gare du Nord (in fact the scenes were shot at Gare de l’Est.) Explore lesser known areas of the city such as the 10th arrondissement (where Villanelle’s apartment is located) and look out for an underpass full of stunning French street art.
Berlin
Bill and Villanelle meet in the yellow-tiled Weberwiese Station, located just minutes from Berlin’s famous techno club, Berghain. (although the scene where Bill is brutally killed was actually filmed in London)
Amsterdam
Killing Eve has included some pretty creative deaths and Amsterdam was the setting for one of the series’ most memorable scenes saw Villanelle commit one of her most blood-thirsty acts in the middle of the red light district.
London
Carolyn’s secret MI6 headquarters is along Warwick House Street, just a short walk from Trafalgar Square. Crouch End’s Hornsey Town Hall, and its beautiful 1930s modernist style, was used during filming to create a lobby, restaurant, bar, hotel corridor and hotel rooms. Fabric Club acts as substitute for a Berlin nightclub and the location of Bill’s sad demise.
Rome
The final episode of the second series of Killing Eve saw the characters wandering the cobbled streets of the Regola district (specifically Via di San Girolamo della Carità) – why not spend a day pretending you’re a spy whilst you meander along the narrow medieval streets and do a spot of people-watching.
Head just out of the city to Tivoli and Villa Adriana which is where the nail-biting chiffhanger ending took place.
Bucharest
Remember the isolated white villa that acted as Konstantin’s home? It sits on the edge of Lake Snagov, just north of Bucharest, and the best thing is you can actually book it for family getaways (complete with a boathouse and dock) Whilst in the area channel your inner Villanelle and visit the nearby Snagov Monastery which houses the bones of Vlad the Impaler. The lobby of central Bucharest’s opulent Romanian Athenaeum transformed into a restaurant supposedly set in Moscow.

Amazing! Berlin is definitely on my wishlist. I love watching TV and considering locations as an extension of the characters.
I’ve never seen Killing Eve but this post has definitely got me curious, especially as I’ve been to most of those places, haha.
I love the series and would definitely recommend it. The locations brilliant fit some of the scenes and definitely gets my wanderlust flowing.
I have not seen Killing Eve yet but I am actually planning on it to be my next tv show after I finish with CSI Miami! It would be so fun to see that TV show after visiting all those places! Thanks for sharing.
TV, films and books always inspire me to travel more.
I would want to visit all the cities! It’s such a cool show, shot so wonderfully and the cities themselves are a character.
Thanks for your comment. This is what I love about books, TV and film. The locations are just as important as the characters and story. The settings become characters and just transport me.
