I don’t know about you, but for me May wasn’t massively different to April, so it isn’t the easiest month to review.
May: Reviewing the Month
As of today I have been off work for ten weeks, some days feel as though it’s flown by, other days feel as though it’s been months and months.
I mentioned in last month’s review that I was being furloughed from my job as of the beginning of May and that it had helped relieve a lot of the stress that was involved in being expected to work from home.
Last week I wrote about the ups and downs of lockdown, how there had been both positive and negative aspects of staying in doors for a lengthy period of time. However, I’ve actually really enjoyed experiencing both of these emotions, it added a sense of change to the hours and the days, it also made me think harder about how I wanted to spend my time, the things I wanted to do and the things I want to do once we come out of the other side of this period of difficulty and uncertainty.
I also mentioned in my previous post that I had struggled with the lack of productivity and the feeling that I had been comparing my lockdown experience with other people. As we head into another month though I have been slowly taking the opportunity to learn some new skills, particularly for photo editing.
What will June be like? Who knows.
How was May for you?
Let me know in the comments.
