With so many countries and cities it would be impossible to explore the world in its entirety. However, as each year approaches I can’t help but think about the places I want to visit, the food I want to taste, the architecture and landscapes that I want to admire and the things I want to learn about myself as I travel. This is my 2019 travel wish list.

My 2019 Travel Wish List

UK

The world may be huge, but the UK is just as interesting and worth exploring. Also, if you live in the UK and are restricted as to when you can travel it means there are hundreds of ideal destinations. Whether you’re looking for the perfect day trip, a weekend getaway, or a longer break worth using your annual leave. These are some of the places in the UK I would love to visit over the next year.

The Cotswolds

Picture postcard villages and intriguing market towns make this area of the UK an absolute must and perfect for day trips or simple weekend trips.

Yorkshire

Whether it’s visiting cities like Leeds or York or ambling across the Dales, Yorkshire is a brilliant destination for anyone and everyone.

Surrey

With so many pretty villages, I am desperate to visit this part of the country.

Europe

It is becoming more and more apparent that a European weekend break is my favourite type of travel experience. There are so many types of city and towns to explore, from industrial to historical, rural to ultra-modern. I just want explore them all.

Italy

I actually already have a trip planned for the Summer, so am super excited to finally visit this beautiful and diverse country.

France

Being from the UK it seems like an obvious destination, but apart from a short holiday ten years ago I have never been to France.

Rest of the World

So many places, so little time.

Morocco

Despite having been once before, I would love to return to Morocco.

Japan

This country has been on my travel wish list for many years, with its rich culture, stunning landscapes and delicious food I would love to visit over the course of the next year.
