I can honestly say that I haven’t stopped thinking about revisiting Japan since I returned from my trip almost two months ago. Whilst Tokyo was likely and vibrant, colourful and loud, Kyoto was serene and relaxed, beautiful and peaceful. If you are thinking of heading to Japan then here are just a few photos to inspire you to visit Kyoto during your trip.
Photos to Inspire You to Visit Kyoto
The streets of Kyoto are full of hidden secrets, tiny side streets waiting to be explored, especially in the Gion district. Â
The Nishiki Market is a highlight if you are looking to try some unusual food.
Whether you want that perfect photo to post on Instagram or a beautiful photo to act as a memento of your trip, a visit to the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest is a must. Towering grasses, beautiful gardens and winding paths you could spend hours exploring.
We’ve all seen the photos of the Torii Gates bordering pathways up a mountain. Fushimi Inari-taisha is a spectacular sight and definitely somewhere that you should add to your itinerary.
